Jess + Kent : Newlyweds Part 1

July 25, 2009

Rain was pouring from the sky as I ran from my car to where Jessica was getting ready. She was in high spirits and looked nothing short of gorgeous in her ‘Jess is getting hitched’ tee and veil. They were banking on an outdoor ceremony and just five minutes before it was suppose to begin the guys rain outside, toweled down the chairs so Jess and Kent could live their dream.

When Jess first met Kent he was riding a bike wearing a ‘wife beater’.  It was not love at first sight for Jessica.  However, it was only a few glances later that Kent’s smile melted her heart and in passing to their mutual friend Kent said, “She’s beautiful’.  It was Kent’s best friend and Jessica’s new friend that began to notice the common idiosyncrasies that would soon make them inseparable.

Jess is from Fort McMurray and Kent from Bay d’Espoir, NL. They began their life together with the beautiful compromise of marrying just outside St. John’s NL at Murray’s Pond Fishing and Country Club. Incredible food, tearful speeches and a mass Screeching-in were just a few of the festivities enjoyed that evening. Stay tuned for Jess + Kent : Part 2 which will be all about the dancing.

Melanie had to rip off Jess’ shirt before the dressing.

Their first kiss as husband and wife.

The blushing bride.

This is how Jess can be seen most of the time.

Her handsome groom who just happens to stand at a mere 6 foot 4. What bride wouldn’t be blushing?

I just love their statuesque posing in this next photo!

Thanks for letting me be part of such a great day. I truly wish you two all the best in your long life together!

As always, another beautiful bridal photo display!
Her dress is beautiful! Love the shot on the dock, and the one with her dress flowing in the wind. Great work!

I completely missed seeing this post!

I also have a tennis court wedding coming up so now the challenge is to make it different from yours…but your shots are so good..hmm. You are too good. I think you should go to work at McDonald’s instead.

Lori I’m looking forward to seeing what you get. It’s not the easiest thing for a bride and groom to play tennis…and these guys were getting competitive! It was great fun. I wish we had done this at my wedding.
