Clarify-ed
PLEASE NOTE: Our models, Kim and Andrew, are not married. Their wedding is planned for October 2009 and we can’t wait to see photos from the big day! Congrats Kim and Andrew on your engagement!
Wedding season is just around the corner and Lori and have just finished a weekend of hanging with new, up-and-coming wedding photographers from all across the island. Check out Lori’s post about the workshop but not before seeing what our attendees did later in this post.
Since wedding season is about to begin we have no further plans for workshops. Be on the look out in the Fall of ’09 for more possible workshop announcements. It’s been a fun winter/spring getting to know this amazing group. It was inspiring to see such a great group trust us with the privilege of teaching them the ins and outs of the business. Thanks for allowing us to get to know you.

Kim and Andrew were not just beautiful but also patient subjects for our demo shoot on Saturday. Thanks so much to The Bridal Salon of St. John’s for loaning us the dress for the day. Kim could not have looked more stunning.

Our ladies…and gent…of the Clarify workshop did not cease to amaze us with their creativity. Here are a few samples of their work.
Mabel is a fantastic photographer ready to take over the western parts of the province. Thanks to Newfoundland Camera we had some great giveaways and Mabel was the recipient of an awesome SLR camera bag, albeit Nikon 🙂
Detail shots must be Tina’s ‘for-taaay’ because she brought out some great ones yesterday during the critique. The Bridal Salon should be very pleased!
Sandra is a great photographer currently based in Grand Falls. Look out Central!
Kara is about to give birth to her first child yet she was seen in all types of positions trying to get the best shot. I love the way she captured Andrew looking at his bride-to-be.
Our one and only guy in the workshop, Paul, gave us the creative photo of the day.
Janice managed to capture a great candid looking image even though our couple were very posed most of the day.
Terri captured Andrew in a rare moment without his bride-to-be. Andrew was so gracious to do the shoot as a mother’s day gift for Kim…what a guy!
I was demonstrating how to use off camera flash and set up this shot for Liz.
Jenn captured this beautiful image of Kim.
Tasha did this next image. She is already a great photographer out of Gander, currently specializing in family/baby portraits! Check her out. She’s ready for hire!
I love all of these shots! Now I want to do it again…
I love your photos, only a year away from our wedding, can’t wait!!! and there is some up-comming great talent, thats for sure!!!
Charla, really good shots. Only you guys could get good wedding photos in a parking garage, I think only you guys would think of it. Anyway, they are very interesting. All, your, Lori’s and the whole group.
I assume you took the first shot with your new macro lens.
Looks really good. The detail is great.
Thanks everyone. No, I didn’t take the first one with my new macro. My 50mm f/1.4 does a pretty great job getting close whereas the macro would have gotten a tight focused shot of just the knot in the ribbon. I’ll have to do a demo post – it’s a lot of fun!
Love the blog post, and I LOVE seeing my name on someone else’s blog ha ha. Just wanna say thanks to you and Lori for everything, I wouldn’t be this far if it wasn’t for the both of you.
