Sunset in the Cape

April 26, 2008

We spent a few days in South Africa. I have tons of stories from that little excursion. After spending an evening in the emergency, seeing human bodies scattered all over the road and still deciding to go Shark Cage Diving we retreated to the other end of the country only to be awoken every hour by geko’s setting off the house alarm (or so we were told)! We were very thankful when we touched down in Zim safe and sound. However, I would definitely recommend visiting Cape Town to anyone who might ask.

Here are a few images from our relaxing moments at the Cape. Though we found ourselves in a lot more trouble than in Zim we did feel that the county was quite ‘civilized’ and thoroughly enjoyed the niceties it had to offer…like food on the shelves and sunset cruises. One crew member of the sunset cruise happened to be named ‘frick’. Frick, the champaigne and sailing really helped us put our troubles aside and live in the moment.
