Spring has Sprung.

Yesterday morning I awoke to the Sun, flooding and scorching our kitchen. It felt like spring. I poured myself a glass of water and noticed light filtering through the leaves of my Gerber Daisy plant (the only plant I’ve ever been able to keep alive). The plant looked as though it was drinking in the sun similar to what I’ve done a million times on a hot Kelowna beach.

Later, as the sun moved away, the leaves began to wilt. They had drank in the sun and in return the sun took back its water. In the hopes of seeing another yellow daisy I quenched its thirst.
