I’ve been very inspired my new lens lately. That mixed with how great these three were dressed this morning, I had to take some photos. Unfortunately my kids weren’t as inspired as me. Instead they each insisted on having the truck.
This will most likely be my last summer where I am completely free to be a mommy. I’m planning on reenstating myself as a ‘paid’ photographer after the 2008 wedding season. Because of our recent decision about my career I am taking full advantage of this summer to document our little family in it’s enfancy.
Here are a few images from our very first evening on vacation! Oh it was peaceful, relaxing, perfect (except we were missing daddy/hubby). Here are my two kids during their first night at Nanny and Poppy’s.
Ok, OK, I know, it’s my kids again! I think these photos exude summer. It was their first time in the pool this year and with the freezing cold water from the hose and the barely-above-20 temperature it didn’t make for an all-in swim time. But it was fun and it’s as much of summer as we’ve had this year. These photos were taken on Canada Day.
I’m away now for a week and I hope to bombard you with new and inspiring photos soon. As well I will get back to the wedding stories.
