It seemed for a while that all eyes were on me. When there is a camera around people get on edge. Around a government wharf they have a reason to be on edge since most cameras actually mean they are being watched…by government people. And if anything is done wrong you can get in big trouble. If they had simply known their photographs would show up on a photography blog they might have started posing for me…well maybe not but at least they might have been a little less on edge.

I just heard that there was a terrible accident at the fish plant. A man fell and hit his head. He was airlifted to St. John’s and is in serious condition. Fishing is a dangerous business whether on or off the boats. Please keep this man and his family in your prayers.
